Emergency Roof Repairs
Roof leaking, slates blown off in a storm, or a chimney that looks unsafe? Yeti Roofing takes emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and aims to get someone out to you the same day wherever possible. We make the roof safe and watertight first, then give you a clear quote for the permanent repair.
If someone has been injured, or the chimney stack looks like it's about to fall, contact the emergency services first, then call us. Call 999
Emergency call-outs and make-safe work are charged.
While you wait for us
- Keep away from water near light fittings or sockets, and switch the power off at the fuse box if it's safe to do so.
- Put buckets and towels down to catch drips and protect floors.
- Stay clear of anything that could fall from the roof or chimney, and keep others away.
- Don't go up a ladder or onto the roof yourself.

- Same day where possible
- Made safe and watertight first
Call us straight away if
If someone has been injured, or the chimney stack looks like it's about to fall, contact the emergency services first, then call us. Call 999
- Water is coming through a ceiling or light fitting
- Slates, tiles or ridge tiles have blown off or slipped

- A tree or branch has hit the roof

What we deal with
Temporary Make-Safe
When water is coming in, the first job is to stop it. Where it's appropriate, we cover the damaged area with a waterproof membrane, or fit a temporary patch, to keep the weather out and protect the inside of your home.
Once the roof is safe and watertight, we find what caused the problem and quote for a proper, permanent repair.
- Waterproof membrane over the damaged area
- Temporary patches where needed
- Protecting your home immediately
Storm Damage Repairs
High winds on the coast can strip slates and tiles, lift ridges and flashings, and bring down chimney pots. Left alone, even a small gap lets in a lot of water.
We replace blown-off slates and tiles, re-fix ridges and lead flashings, and deal with fallen chimney pots, using materials matched to your roof.
- Blown-off slates and tiles replaced
- Ridges and lead flashings re-fixed
- Fallen chimney pots made safe and replaced
Securing Dangerous Chimneys
A leaning or cracked chimney stack, or pots and brickwork coming loose, is a danger to you, your neighbours and anyone walking past.
We make the stack safe first. Where it's needed, we put up temporary scaffolding to help secure the chimney until repairs can be carried out, and take down any loose pots or brickwork. Then we advise on the repair or rebuild it needs.
- Temporary scaffolding to secure the stack
- Loose pots and brickwork taken down safely
- Advice and a quote for the repair or rebuild
Insurance Claim Support
If the damage is covered by your home insurance, your insurer will want evidence. We photograph the damage, including drone images of the whole roof where they help, and give you a written report of what we found and what needs doing.
That gives you what you need for your claim, along with a clear quote for the repair.
- Photos of the damage, including drone images
- A written report for your insurer
- A clear quote for the repair
